My Experience Winning 2nd Place in the Canary Day Speed Painting Competition

What an incredible experience! On Canary Day, I had the honor of participating in a speed painting competition at Deiland Shopping Mall, alongside many talented artists from across the Canary Islands. With limited time and a lot of creative energy in the air, I poured my heart into capturing the unique landscapes and spirit of the islands.

To my great joy and surprise, my painting won 2nd place! The scene I created — a windmill standing proudly against the volcanic hills and desert tones — seemed to really connect with the judges and audience. I was awarded 2d place, but more than that, I walked away with an unforgettable memory and a deep sense of fulfillment.
